Brian Wolff, Ph.D. headshot

Brian Wolff, Ph.D.

Dr. Brian Wolff is the owner and founder of Wolff Child Psychology and its Director of Psychological and Behavioral Services. He established Wolff Child Psychology in 2011 with the goals of providing families with evidence-based, individualized psychotherapy services and with comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations that provide true insight into each child’s patterns of neurodevelopmental functioning. Over the years, Dr. Wolff has brought together an outstanding team of bright, highly trained, and caring psychologists, behavioral specialists, and administrative staff who not only helped expand the number of clients we could see, but who, through their training, experience, and unique perspectives, work every day to improve the quality and effectiveness of our therapy and evaluation services.

Dr. Wolff received a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Yale University, his M.A. and Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, and his post-doctoral training as a Research Fellow at JFK Partners at the University of Colorado Denver and as a Lecturer at the University of Denver. Dr. Wolff is currently on the Board of Directors at Vertical Skills Academy, a specialized school for children with Dyslexia in Evergreen.

Elizabeth F. Bruno, Ph.D.

Dr. Elizabeth Bruno is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with specialized training in developmental and neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Bruno employs evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive assessment and consultation services to children and adolescents who may be at risk for cognitive, academic, social and behavioral difficulties. She is especially passionate about assessing very young children with the goal of starting early intervention as soon as possible. 

She received her B.A. in Psychology and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Southern Methodist University. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. During her time in graduate school, Dr. Bruno received specialized training in developmental and neuropsychological assessment at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. She also completed an intensive internship program in Pediatric Psychology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Following her graduation, Dr. Bruno completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship through the Developmental Medicine Center at Children’s Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Bruno received in depth training on the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and in understanding the interaction between medical conditions and development. She was also a Clinical Instructor in the Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Program at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford. Having received extensive training in her field of work, Dr. Bruno values the opportunity to work directly with families through every step of the assessment process.

Nicole Wallace, Ph.D. headshot

Nicole Wallace, Ph.D., ABPP-CN

Dr. Nicole Wallace is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has also obtained board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). She earned her BS in Psychology and Spanish and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University. Her graduate training focused on Child and Family Intervention and Assessment. Dr. Wallace completed an intensive pre-doctoral internship program in Pediatric Psychology at Children’s Hospital of Orange County. She gained specialized training in Pediatric Neuropsychological assessment during a two year Post-Doctoral Fellowship program at Advanced Neurobehavioral Health of Southern California. Through this experience, Dr. Wallace gained expertise regarding brain-behavior relationships in children ranging from 0-25. She has worked extensively with children with developmental disorders, attention and learning disabilities, as well as children with medically complex needs that affect their learning and behaviors. Dr. Wallace has served many roles in the past including Clinical Instructor at Colorado State University and Rehabilitation Psychologist at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She currently provides neuropsychological assessment, individual and family therapy, and training for the Post-Doctoral Fellows at WCP.

Dr. Wallace believes in comprehensive assessment in order to individually tailor treatment recommendations based on a child’s unique strengths and weaknesses. She enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize a child’s functioning. In her free time, Dr. Wallace enjoys running, swimming, and spending time with her husband and three children. She is very interested in the relationship between physical and emotional health, often working with children and families to address the holistic needs of their children.

Jessica Torres, Ph.D.

Dr. Jessica Torres is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. She completed pre-doctoral training in assessment, therapy, pediatric primary care, postpartum depression, and infant development through the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Aurora. As a pre-doctoral intern, she completed an American Psychological Association accredited internship training program in child clinical and pediatric psychology through the Children’s Hospital of Orange County Pediatric Psychology Department in Orange, California. She then completed her postdoctoral training with Wolff Child Psychology and has served as a clinical supervisor for the University of Denver’s clinical child psychology doctoral program. 
 
Dr. Torres believes strongly in the central tenet of the collaborative problem solving therapy model in which children do well if they can. Children do not exist in a vacuum but rather are embedded in their family, school, and community systems. Care is individualized to the needs of the child and family and grounded in clinical science. She wants families to know they are a team working together to support their child’s needs, whether that be through rigorous evaluation and care planning or through individualized psychotherapy. Dr. Torres specializes in the assessment and treatment of depression and anxiety, as well as the differential diagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions, including specific learning disorders (e.g., Dyslexia), ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Danielle Mohr, Ph.D.

Dr. Danielle Mohr is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University. Her graduate training focused on assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with ADHD, learning disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and mood and behavioral concerns. Dr. Mohr completed her pre-doctoral internship at Community Reach Center, in Adams County, Colorado, and a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical child psychology at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. Prior to Wolff Child Psychology, Dr. Mohr served as the Assessment Supervisor for Aurora Mental Health Center, building and running the assessment program and supervising doctoral students in psychological assessment and diagnosis as well as therapy.

Dr. Mohr is passionate about using the assessment process as a way of making data-driven decisions regarding a child’s learning and social-emotional needs. Dr. Mohr hopes that through the assessment process, families gain a greater ability to recognize their child’s strengths, put words to their struggles, and identify concrete ways to make life easier and more joyful. She strives to make the assessment process feel warm, validating, and collaborative. She hopes that families leave the assessment process feeling like their child and their struggles have been seen and recognized, and they are knowledgeable and hopeful about how to move forward.

​Outside of the office, Dr. Mohr enjoys everything outdoors (except for skiing), spending time with her husband and son, and reading.

Nikki Pond, Psy.D. headshot

Nikki Pond, Psy.D.

Dr. Nikki Pond is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She received her M.Ed. in Prevention Science and Practice from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and her M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. She completed pre-doctoral training in assessment at National Jewish Health, as well as training in therapy and assessment for children with complex trauma, depression, and anxiety at Denver Children’s Home. As a pre-doctoral intern, she completed an APA-accredited one-year internship training program in child and adolescent psychology at Denver Children’s Home through the DU Graduate School of Professional Psychology Internship Consortium.
 
Dr. Pond is passionate about working with children and adolescents with a range of experiences, including anxiety and depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning and attentional difficulties, significant life transitions and stressors, and traumatic life events. She strives to support clients’ mental health in therapy by identifying their strengths and promoting their resilience. For evaluations, Dr. Pond employs a strengths-based, collaborative, and integrative approach to truly understanding a child’s patterns of functioning.

Hillary Grady-Speckhals, Psy.D.

Dr. Hillary Grady-Speckhals is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She received her M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. She completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship and a post-doctoral fellowship in child clinical psychology at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her graduate training and experiences focused on providing assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with mood and behavioral concerns, complex trauma, ADHD, learning disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Grady-Speckhals has worked in a number of settings, including both inpatient and outpatient hospital clinics.
 
Dr. Grady-Speckhals has extensive training and experience using evidence-based treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She provides parenting support and works collaboratively with families to meet their specific needs and goals. Dr. Grady-Speckhals completes thorough evaluations to assess for specific learning disorders, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, working closely with caregivers and schools to support a child’s individual strengths and needs

Alexandra Manion, Ph.D headshot

Alexandra Manion, Ph.D

Dr. Alexandra Manion is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Wolff Child Psychology. She received her Ph.D. in Child, Family, and School Psychology from the University of Denver, and her M.A in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado. Her experience and expertise represent a blend of both clinical and school-based delivery, with a focus on neuropsychological assessment and evidence-based intervention. Dr. Manion completed pre-doctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology at Children’s Hospital Colorado, in addition to completing an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in neuropsychology at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. Her assessment and intervention experience includes infants, children, and adolescents with learning disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, trauma, emotional and behavioral concerns, as well as complex medical presentations.

​Dr. Manion previously worked as an early childhood and elementary educator in various schools within the Denver community, as well as a visual art educator across both school and museum settings. Dr. Manion regularly incorporates visual art into her therapy services, and also facilitates art therapy groups throughout the calendar year. She is an avid believer in the benefit of art and creative expression to deepen the therapeutic relationship, to enhance communication in sessions, and to provide clients with a multimodal, hands-on method to share their experiences. She promotes a strengths-focused approach across both evaluations and treatment, and is passionate about partnering with families and educators to provide wraparound support for children.

Cierra Townsend, Ph.D. headshot

Cierra Townsend, Ph.D.

Cierra Townsend is a Ph.D. candidate in the Child, Family, and School Psychology program at the University of Denver. She received her B.A in Psychology and Women’s Studies at George Washington University and her M.A. in Early Child Special Education from Mills College. Her graduate training focused on equitable assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with learning disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and mood and behavioral concerns. Cierra completed her advanced training at the Developmental Neuropsychology Clinic and her pre-doctoral internship at Denver Public Schools.

​Cierra has served as the Graduate Clinic Manager and Associate Professor for the Counseling and Educational Services Clinic, supervising doctoral and education specialists’ students in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and school-based consultation. Cierra believes in and values the collaborative process between the family, school, and assessment to fully support students.

Samantha Thedin, Ph.D.

Dr. Samantha Thedin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Wolff Child Psychology. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Thedin completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship in child and family clinical psychology at the Aurora Mental Health Center in Colorado. She has experience working with children, ranging from early childhood to late adolescence, and their parents. Her clinical training and experiences have focused on providing evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy for children and adolescents with a broad range of presenting concerns, including emotional and behavioral concerns, trauma, ADHD, learning disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Thedin has experience using evidence-based treatments including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Parent Management Training.

Dr. Thedin is passionate about working with children and their families. She sees assessments as a collaborative and comprehensive process to identify a child’s unique strengths and areas of growth. She employs a strengths-based trauma-informed approach to promote positive change.

Kelsie McQuinn, Psy.D.

Dr. Kelsie McQuinn is a pre-licensed Clinical Psychologist at Wolff Child Psychology. She received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, as well as her M.A. in Forensic Psychology, from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Her experience and training involves evidenced-based behavioral interventions including Exposure and Response Prevention, as well as neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Kelsie McQuinn completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in pediatric neuropsychology at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her assessment and intervention experiences include children, adolescents, and adults with learning disorders, emotional and behavioral concerns, Autism Spectrum Disorder, chronic pain, as well as complex medical presentations. Dr. McQuinn is passionate about providing comprehensive evaluations to help provide diagnostic clarification for families, as well as neurodiversity affirming therapy services to support children and adolescents in need.

Coral Euler, M.A.

Coral Euler received her B.A. in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology at California State Fullerton, and her M.A. and Licensure in Early Childhood Education at the University of Colorado Denver. She has a long history of working with children and teenagers with specific developmental disorders (e.g., ASD, ADHD) and with a range of behavioral, emotional, and executive functioning challenges. Coral works with parents, children, and teens to find strategies that work for them to support each family’s individually tailored goals. Coral has worked for the past 15 years with hundreds of children through multiple state and county agencies, psychology, speech/language, and occupational therapy practices, and in partnership with Brian Wolff, Ph.D., at Wolff Child Psychology and through the Wolff Integrated Support for Executive Functioning (WISE) program they developed. Coral and Dr. Wolff created WISE to provide intensive, family-based support for children’s executive functioning challenges, including difficulties with behavioral, emotional, and cognitive regulation. WISE services continue to be integrated into Coral’s day-to-day work with children and families, given the impact executive functioning challenges have on children’s emotional and behavioral functioning and on the well-being of the family as a whole.

Outside of work, Coral enjoys exploring Colorado with her husband and two children. Coral is an engaging, structured, and compassionate professional who can seamlessly switch from being no-nonsense to all-nonsense depending on the needs of the client and family. Her individualized approach has made a substantial and positive impact on the lives of many parents and children over the last 15 years!

Rachel Altman, M.A. headshot

Rachel Altman, M.A.

Rachel Altman earned her B.A. and her M.A. in English from Stanford University. Additionally, she earned her M.A. in Education, with a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English, from Pepperdine’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. After working as an English teacher at Santa Monica High School in Los Angeles, Rachel relocated to Denver where she worked as a substitute teacher at Colorado Academy, Kent Denver School, Graland Country Day School, and Stanley British Primary School. For the last 17 years, Rachel has been working as an English tutor, providing reading and writing support for students in grades 6-12, and college. Rachel specializes in the writing of literary essays, and also guides high-school juniors and seniors through the process of writing and editing their Common App essays, and all supplemental college essays. For the last 12 years, Rachel has also been working as an Executive-Functioning (EF) coach providing overall academic and organizational support for her clients. Rachel helps her pupils with their school websites, homework, test prep, time management, calendars, and “chunking” of large papers and projects. For those with ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Traumatic Brain Injuries, Rachel takes an integrated approach to her work by consulting with mental-health professionals, school personnel, and parents to provide support for her students.

Prior to entering the field of education, Rachel worked in New York City as a writer at Gentlemen’s Quarterly magazine and an editor at Vis a Vis magazine. In Los Angeles, Rachel was an Arts and Entertainment Reporter for the Los Angeles Times, a Creative Executive at Walt Disney/Touchstone Pictures, and a freelance writer for Premiere.

Tami Newlin

Tami Newlin is our indispensable office manager. She is at the heart of the daily activities of running the office and helps parents navigate through the evaluation and therapy process. Tami has worked for the past 30 years in the medical field in various administrative and management capacities. She loves connecting and interacting with the families and doctors here to help everyone feel comfortable with the process. Outside of the office she loves reading, hiking, gardening, photography, and spending time with her husband and son. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Sociology from Metro State University.

Summer Millwood, M.A.

Summer Millwood, M.A., is a current Ph.D. student in the Child Clinical Psychology program at the University of Denver. She received her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at DU. Her graduate clinical training has focused on delivering and adapting evidence-based therapy and assessment to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of presenting concerns (e.g., social-emotional, neuropsychological). Summer is currently an extern at Children’s Hospital Colorado in the Rehabilitation Psychology program, where she provides evidence-based therapy and assessment services to youth and their caregivers with co-occurring medical (e.g., chronic health conditions, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries) and social-emotional presentations, as well as diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, gender, and cultural identities. At WCP, Summer is a clinic assistant. She conducts phone intakes for clients and performs various clinic administration duties. Summer enjoys connecting with families to assess current needs and assist with navigating the process to access mental health care.
